Working with Roy Pugh (Local Historian and Author) the Dunbar trades association are proud to present Historic foot tours of our great town. The tours will be free to the general public tickets available from Graze Coffee & Chocolate House.
Lorraine from Graze said "We are delighted to announce on behalf of Dunbar Trades Association, we are the meeting point for the newly established Dunbar Historic Tours. Our local historian Roy Pugh will be donating his time and expert knowledge of our town every Saturday from 2.30pm, with tours lasting max 60 mins. These ticketed tours are Free of Charge and tickets can be collected from Graze. On completion of the tour, you will be given a voucher entitling you to 10% discount of all food purchased in Graze at the end of the event! This a great opportunity for adults and children to learn all about our great historic town ..... Tickets available from Monday 23rd. First tour Saturday 28th June. Roy's published Books all about Dunbar can also be purchased in Graze."
Roy recently, generously donated some work he had conducted around the history of the High street closes to our website and some of this will feature within the tour. Steven Hill (Chair of DTA) said "Roy is such a great servant of this town, giving up his free time to conduct these tours to help residents learn more about their own town alongside visitors to the area. The Trades association has wanted to work with Roy on a number of projects and this is the latest installment, more will surely follow. Places will be limited so make sure you book early"
