You can image the delight of the Findlay family and their 25 staff when news of this great achievement was published.  A double celebration as November, 2013 also marks their 10th anniversary at The Rocks.

This small friendly restaurant with 11 bedrooms, is a great favourite for all who visit East Lothian.  The friendly and professional welcome is The Rocks’ trademark with locally sourced food served in an informal, cosy atmosphere.

Head Chef, Ian Johnstone, leads the team of six chefs and their carefully chosen menu provides a diverse choice of local and seasonal foods from delicious local fish and chips to a variety of game dishes.  Not forgetting, mouth-watering steaks and delicious home made sweets.

Since the inception of the East Lothian Food & Drink Awards in 2008, The Rocks have featured strongly and their reputation for good affordable food and attentive service is widely recognised.  ‘The business has been built using local produce’ commented owner Jim Findlay ‘and Dunbar is such an attractive and popular destination with a great variety of attractions available.

The Rocks is unique.  Not only is their food superb, their service first class but all of their comfortable bedrooms enjoy a sea view and it is a great accolade and achievement for the Findlay family and their staff and the historic town of Dunbar to receive this latest award.
