The John Muir Way is one of Scotland’s premier walking and cycling routes. Taking your from coast to coast it leads you across some of central Scotland most amazing scenery. From Helensburgh on the banks of Loch Lomond Scotland’s First National Park across the country to Dunbar the birthplace of the world’s best known Conservationist.

The Way was expanded in April 2014 to provide a route from coast to coast that is perfect for those wishing an adventure which shows you so many different sides of Scotland, From the harbour town of Dunbar with its working fishing fleet, to the bright lights of Scotland’s capital city you will see amazing feats of engineering and invention coupled with unspoilt nature and wildlife galore.
