Various flower shows are annually held around the Dunbar Area.
The historic, seaside town of Dunbar, just 30 miles north of Berwick upon Tweed is unique. The 17th century Town House and High Street are excellent examples of the way in which the old world charm of Dunbar has been preserved. With its various shops, vennels, churches and other historic buildings Dunbar is full of character and is a great place to explore. Dunbar Golf Club, formed in 1856 is a Classic Championship Links on the East of the town. All visiting golfers are very welcome to come and play a course that is regularly voted among the best in the country.
